Ida’s Magic X (VELVET BEADS x Ida’s
Magic) 24” 53/4” MLa Sev Re.
This daylily is a unique color in the red
family with a hint of cinnamon in its
coloring. The form is round and perfect
with a cream, reverse eye, cream edging,
and a green heart. The plant habit is low
with above-average buds and branching.
An interesting red for the late garden.

the patterned eye of tawny rose on the
cream-peach background. The eye is
accentuated with a penciled border and
then continues into the midrib stretching
out toward the petal tips. The throat is a
light chartreuse-green which sets up this
pastel beauty. Lovely broad foliage.

ROLL AWAY THE STONE is another choice
daylily from HEART’S DESTINY - the parent of
LOVE FOR JESUS. This time the edging genes
are bursting in Extra Early ruffles right down to
the throat which happens to be almost a peach
color.
ROLL AWAY THE STONE is quite striking with
the Merlot-wine petals bordered in white. Buds
and branching are above average. ROLL AWAY
THE STONE sets pods easily and the pollen is
fertile except there isn’t much else to use the
pollen on with one so early ..............$40

because of its extreme substance. If you were to
squeeze a petal on the base at the rib, it would feel
like a plastic cushion. UNITY OF THE SPIRIT has
broad petals also, a reverse eye and a matching
gold filigree wide edging. The heart is green. The
pedigree is excellent with MOMENTUM genes in an
edged red from CHIEF CRAZY HORSE. ST.
HELENA SPIRIT is a blush-white with a green
throat and good substance from my red lines.

yellow, near-white with yellow edging and
green heart. The petals have become wider
than pictured, and it has long rebloom that
extends the season.
WALK IN THE LIGHT has a good substance
and makes proliferations. Lovely ruffled
edging
